We are delighted to welcome Amy Seaman as the new director for the North East.
Longstanding director for the North East, Andy McGregor, resigned after the AGM, therefore we consulted across the sector and have recruited and appointed Amy. Amy is the first Dispensing Optician to be a director of the Central Fund and makes the organisation much more representative of the sector it supports.
Amy is a member of Sheffield LOC, is a MECS accredited Contact Lens Optician, ABDO examiner and former lecturer so brings with her a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective on the work of The Fund. We are very much looking forward to working with her.
